Sphere

Going off of what we did last class we had to now paint a photo realistic sphere which was harder than doing the rectangular blending from last time. We had to set up many layers and use the paint tool and eraser tool for this. I asked some questions and realized i need to ask more because this is super hard and confusing at some points.

Blending Black to White

Today in class we had to do some technical stuff with blending from black to white. We mainly used this to get us prepared for paint in photoshop. It was really hard to get the blending started but it was easy once I got use to it. I think I got this skill down for lack of better words but ya. I think it turned out okay.

Mickey Running Gif

This is a super exciting day for me. Why? BECAUSE I GOT THIS GIF WORKING! I finished cutting out my Mickey and then with some playing around and some research I got Mickey running! I am really excited for this because it took me a long time to cut it out and I wasn't so sure on how the animation part was going to work out. But it did work out and i am so happy it did!!

We started a new project in class today and it looks pretty cool. We have to make a moving/animated gif from a template. The catch- we have to do it by ourselves with no instruction. I am pretty scared about that but there are some websites that i can look at to help me. I just need to finish cutting out the background and then figure out and play around with how to make these 8 pictures animated in Photoshop.

Getting there...

 Today was a catch-up day in class and I tried more with my zebra rhino thing. Sadly, it is not getting easier. Its hard to do, but it is fun oddly enough. And obviously i still have a lot to do (saying that I still am trying to get the zebra to fully cover the rhino). But it is getting harder because you are putting multiple techniques together instead of focusing on one.

Zebra/Rhino Mash-Up

Today we continued our zebra/rhino merge with Photoshop. I made sure to edit the right photos so I don't waste time again. I tried to get ht process stared but this was hard. I followed the directions on the website and followed the directions using the transform-warp tool and liquify again. but it had to start over a couple of times just because i made a mistake that I couldn't come back from. Luckily, I am not that far ahead where it impacted me greatly. This project is going to take some time.

Google Doodle Day 2 (pictures)

Whelp, my computer is still having troubles uploading pictures and I have no idea why. It is very aggravating and makes me go crazy! Sadly, I had to wait till the weekend was over and then I could upload the pictures. And... here they are! I really like the water one (the last one), I think it is just fun to look at. But I also really like the fruit one (the first one)(especially the g made of grapes. Yep, I am that clever :-) ). The second one is an idea that it is like a translator that you speak a word into it and then choose the language you want translated too and then it speaks it back to you.

Google Doodle Day 2

All day today we just worked on our Google design. We had to choose three of our favorite thumbnail designs and then we had to expand on those ideas. I actually feel like I was really productive during class today. I got two designs drawn and outlined (so people can see better). I have to do the third one for homework over the weekend (sad face) but it was actually pretty easy and fun because you are just drawing and I really like drawing. Once I get the pictures off of my phone I'll put it up here (and hopefully I wont have as much trouble as I did last night!) 

Google Uploaded!

I GOT IT UPLOADED! I am so happy that i finally got this uploaded at school. I am ecstatic that it worked, but also shows me that i need to get my laptop checked out. But a few more ideas greeted me and I wrote it down (on my original draft) AFTER I took this picture and in all honesty, I was too afraid to try and upload it again and take a new picture. But here it is! Yay!

Google Doodle FAIL!

In class the other day we had to create a doodle for the Google completion thing. And it was hard. I wracked my brain, asked my friends, and my family and it was just hard to think of something that I would want to invent to make the world a better place. (it seems like everything useful has already been invented- like the airplane, and stuff like that- and that it would make people lazier. But here comes the tricky part. I got some doodles down and some of them are okay, and I tried uploading it tonight (while watching the Olympics- go USA!) and it would not upload. At all. I tried and tried again and it would not upload from my computer :-( so I guess I will have to do it tomorrow before class or right in the beginning of class. Hopefully it will work and I can get it uploaded!

Zebra Cut-Out

Today was hard for me, let me explain. I thought I was on top of things, getting my zebra cut-out and it looked pretty good. But then when I was trying to copy it onto my rhino, I realized something- I copied the wrong picture! I was so mad, especially since we only had 30 minutes left in the class. I tried to get as much done so I can focus of the rhino part of this next class. I tried so hard and I know I am still getting use to Photoshop and all, but I am trying my best and that is all that I can do.  Hopefully getting the rest cut-out wont be too hard next class/ whenever i have free time since I've already did it once.
